The Southern Nevada Health District serves as a training site for several health care and public health professional training programs operating in Southern Nevada, as well as for programs outside the area on occasion.

The growing number of training programs has resulted in increased requests for interns and residents to train with health district programs.

In an effort to best meet the needs of the educational community and to assure compliance with workplace safety and security requirements, we have developed the Internships & Resident Rotations webpages.

This section is intended to provide both students, residents and educational institutions with information and guidance on which internship and rotation programs are currently available at the health district and the requirements for application.
